SEO Is a Cost Effective Internet Marketing Strategy

Nowadays most internet users are using search engines on daily basis to find either a product or information related to their needs. On the other hand, internet marketing professionals need to implement the most adapted and profitable strategies to increase their visibility and get traffic towards their websites. By promoting your products or services widely, you can build a good reputation and make money out of your traffic and also out of the money you will have saved by using SEO as your main internet marketing strategy. Internet is now fastest growing market place and to stand out from the crowd you need the right route.

Search Engine Optimization is the process of optimizing a website to make it reach the highest search engine ranking position on a given set of keywords relevant to the purpose of the website. Search engines such as Google are users orientated and only want to give them the most relevant results so they can find the exact match on the first spot. To be able to reach the highest position using this internet marketing strategy, there is a number of tactics to make your site search engine friendly. Most of these tactics require few investment but just skills and good attention to details. Google relies primarily on high quality content with an emphasis on keyword placement and relevance. SEO can subdivided in essential parts; On page optimization which consists in acting and optimizing on the website's pages and; Off page optimization is more about promoting your website on other websites using link building for example. The more this optimization will be relevant to your targeted keywords the more you will have the odds on your side to reach the highest ranking positions which will give more traffic. The need to be the highest as possible in search engines is justified by the fact that most internet users are looking at the first three results so that means that if you are lower then you will get a few or no traffic at all.

Using SEO as your main internet marketing strategy requires extensive knowledge and patience. In fact, it is a long-term investment that only pays with regularity and hard work. Internet is a fast changing environment and you need to be on top of new trends and concepts so it is vital that you keep your knowledge updated. The only way to be rewarded by a SEO campaign is to work hard without losing patience and you will certainly be rewarded.

2 Advanced Strategies for SEO and Social Networks That Actually Work Together

Imagine this: you have guzzled more coffee than you can count trying to brainstorm ways to generate more backlinks. Then someone suddenly suggests Facebook and off you go to experiment. You post an article with some extra social media sharing and voila! You see that page rising through SERP rankings.

Ha! If only the relationship between SEO and social media was so easy to forgive.

These two are the most critical elements of any digital marketing strategy and yet many businesses struggle to understand how they work together.

So, Are These Two in a Relationship or What?

In answer, consider this. The Rebooting Ranking Factors study by Searchmetrics produced a chart a little while ago. This chart shows that a blog post that ranks well in search engine results also gets more shares on Facebook.

Similar studies were then carried out for Twitter and Google+ with same results.

But according to Searchmetrics, these results were only due to the connection relationship between social media and SEO.

So, yes, there is an important aspect that links them together.

Social media has the authority to drive traffic to your content. If your content is good, it will attract real links from numerous other websites and blogs because people love to share great useful links within their own networks on social networking sites.

An Active Social Media Account = Increased Brand Awareness

The traffic generated from social media creates excellent on-site SEO indicators. Again, if your content is great, it will lead to high-time-on-site metrics, click-throughs to other parts of your website, and much more.

And how many times have you seen an ad on any social network and then Googled it later? An active social media account is your one-way ticket towards larger brand awareness.

2 Next-Level Strategies to Integrate your SEO & Social Media Marketing Strategy

You can tweak your social media promotion tactics to make the most of these SEO benefits.

Firstly, of course, you must create exceptional and useful content. You do not want your SEO strategies driving the wave of bad content.

The next wise step would be to make good use of these two master approaches.

1. Target maximum clicks on social media while creating content

Expert marketers are well aware of what hooks the readers most. Maybe it's a listable (list article) that includes internal links that direct the readers towards more helpful content. Maybe it's an entertaining CTA that appears irresistible to the prospects.

Create content that attracts the attention and forces the prospects to click through. It does not mean that you should focus on 'clickbait' articles that are misleading and useless. But do ask yourself, "what would the reader absolutely love to read next?"

Use images, gifs and videos as they catch the most attention. Make people laugh or cry!
Emotional advertising is still the biggest hit.

2. Account-based marketing (ABM) is a good bet

Integrating your social media content with your ABM strategy will practice guarantee success in the effective targeting process.

Maybe your business already relies on ABM or maybe you're just getting started; it's a sure shot way to climb high on the target ladder. For example, you will create personalized content for your ABM campaign – publish it on your website! It does not have to live in the site navigation (specifically if it's highly personalized), but it should still be there.

Then, share that content with its intended audience using paid ads or your current relationships on social media.

This ensures that your highly relevant content gets an audience (even if it's one-to-one sharing!) Which almost always leads to a significant on-site engagement.

LiveSmart 360 – Social Media Information Overload? 5 Ways to Conquer the Flow

Many of you have heard the buzz about the new network marketing online phenomenon, LiveSmart 360. Those of you that have become part of the company may have experienced information overload. LiveSmart 360 has been the first legitimate network marketing company to exploit social media, while maintaining its traditional business model. However, the dizzying pace in which the company communicates with its people, coupled with the multiple social media outlets that it uses, can become overwhelming.

Twitter, Facebook, blogging, nightly conference calls, team conference calls, full time job, kids, and the list goes on. Who has time for all of this? It's not a question of time, it is a question of organization and filtering.

LiveSmart 360 is simply doing what most companies will not do, communicating with their people. And just like any other information that's out there, we must apply filters. Picture trying to watch every news channel, read every newspaper, and listen to every radio news broadcast daily. It would be ridiculous. You must apply filters. You probably have your main source of news and you sometimes check a few others every now and then.

Applying this principle to your LiveSmart 360 network marketing business, you would simply pick your favorite form of social media. For example, if you love blogging, pick the LiveSmart 360 blog. It is the most comprehensive, up to date source of news from LiveSmart 360. You can find pre-recorded conference calls as well as an array of informational pdf's and brochures.

If you are a Facebook fan, hang out at the LiveSmart 360 Facebook page. There, you can connect with other LiveSmart 360 members and find similar personalities.

If you are a Twitter tweeter, check out the LiveSmart 360 twitter page. If you're in a crunch and need your information short and sweet, this is the place for you.

The nightly conference calls are great for staying plugged in. Bring as many people as you want so that they might hear from others all over the world. LiveSmart 360 is global.

You can also use the online chat if you have not found answers from all of the other sources.

AS you can see, with LiveSmart 360, you do not have to go to all sources, all the time. That would be like shooting a rabbit with a cannon, it's effective ….. but you have no more rabbit! Use filtering.

How SEO Copywriting Services Can Help You

Even if you think you have the ability to do your own copywriting, getting SEO copywriting services from an external company may still be the better choice for your business.

These external professional companies will usually be able to do a much more competent job than you can do in-house, as they are constantly updating themselves with the latest developments in the industry. And not only are they able to do the job better, in most cases they can probably do the job faster than you can too. This enables you to have a much faster time-to-market than if you were to try to figure things out yourself.

Regardless of the type of content you need, you can have any of the external SEO copywriting services help you to get them created. Just give them a brief of your specific requirements, and you can have them draft out your press releases, general articles, industry commentary, customer newsletters, et al.

If your company has promised to deliver regular newsletters, you may find it difficult to produce content to send out every week so SEO copywriting services can also help to lessen the burden of trying to come up with things to say.

And because all these new content will be crafted with the proper SEO principles in mind, you can then upload these to your web site and help you get better search engine rankings for the site. Not only do you have fresh content for the visitors to your site, your organic search engine rankings should improve over the long run which in turn will result in even more traffic to your site.

But most importantly, outsourcing your content creation to external SEO copywriting services frees up more of your precious time. Without having to spend the time creating content for all the different publishing destinations, you can focus on the most important strategic aspects of your business. Instead of cracking your head to think of what to say in your latest article for your web site, you can sit down and devise even more ways to increase the revenue streams for your business.

If you are ever boggged down by the nitty gritty details of content creation, you will never have enough time to look at the big picture of your business. And that's what you are expected to be doing to take your company to the next level and get the best ROI, right?

So as you can see, apart from the fact that you can get better overall content from hiring a professional, hiring an external SEO copywriting firm can bring about many other benefits too.

How to Get Started With Social Media for the 50-60-Something Entrepreneur

When you see the title of this article, some of you may be saying, ‘what do you mean, how do I get started with social media, like it’s some big secret?’ To some, it might sound like a silly question as most people just dive into a platform and begin making posts.

Now imagine if you will, that you’re a 50 or 60-something new entrepreneur. Most of your posts have been on Facebook or and you might have contributed to the company LinkedIn page, but you never had to bother with setting these social media accounts for your business.

With dozens of multi-million networks and big companies pouring millions of dollars into it, social media may seem daunting for any small business entrepreneur, even more so for fifty-somethings who haven’t grown up with the Internet. But the amount of exposure social media can bring your business, and the opportunity it offers you to connect with your target audience and spread the word about your products or services cannot be ignored.

Your competitors are already on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social networks. In a world full of mobile devices and apps, having only a website and blog is no longer enough.

Here are some tips to get you started for the #FiftySomethingEntrepreneur.

The Right Approach to Social Media

Before getting started, you have to remember that social media is first and foremost social. While brands do use it to market themselves, sometimes using paid ads, the main benefit of being social is interacting with your audience. What’s more, Google takes into account the buzz you generate on social networks when determining your search engine ranking, or how high you show up in the Google search results.

Start Small

There are many social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, WhatsApp, YouTube, and Tumblr. As a startup or small business, you may not have the time or the resources to be active on all of them, nor should you.

An effective strategy is to start small. Most businesses start with #Facebook, #Twitter, #LinkedIn, and optionally, #YouTube. Depending on your target customers, some of networks will offer you better returns on your time spent on them than others.

Create a SM Marketing Strategy

It’s important to have a social media marketing strategy in place. Without one, social media can become a time-sink. Considering your audience, their needs, and what you can offer them. Decide what content would work best for them, whether it’s articles, images, videos, short updates, how-to guides, and so on. Social media is very flexible, so you mix it up to keep things interesting.

Creating an Engaging Social Business Page

After creating your accounts, you have to personalize them. Keep personal and professional accounts separate. For your business, make sure to create a business page, rather than a standard profile. This will enable you to customize your page with a logo, business address and other details, as well as access a wealth of data about your fans and followers. Add a custom header and background to your business page, and try to keep all pages consistent in terms of design.

Content: Creation, Curation, and Timing

You also have to determine how often you will post fresh content on social media – at least two or three times a week is a must, and ideally you want to post something new every day. Fortunately, you don’t have to create all the content yourself. You can always curate or share content from experts in your industry, news sites, and other relevant sources, so long as you give credit to the creator and don’t infringe any usage rights.

The Key to Success – Being Active and Involved

The hard work begins after you’ve set up your accounts. Posting is not enough. You have to interact with your audience by answering their questions, starting discussions, organizing contests, and rewarding loyal followers with mentions, and possibly for ecommerce businesses with coupons, or freebies. You have to follow others, share their content, and join groups and discussions. On social media, if you are not active, you are invisible.

Social media can also open up the door to new professional connections. Actively connect with your existing connections and also seek influencers, experts, and other notable people in your industry. Share their content and you may catch their eye.

Be Social

Last but not least, it’s important to keep in mind that being on social media is no longer optional for a small business. If you are not “social,” people won’t be able to find your business as easily, and many will go to your competitors instead. That’s why if you don’t have the time to manage your social media marketing efforts yourself, it’s better to delegate someone within your company to do it for you, or hire someone to help you with this.

The key is to get started and not to shy away from engaging in social media. Trust me when I say it gets easier the more time you spend in doing some type of post. Now go and have some fun.

Social Media Is not Always Child's Play

Consider this … You are contacted by a childhood friend on Facebook, who has 1200 friends. You, on the other hand, have just over 100 friends listed on your own Facebook page. What kind of thoughts immediately run through your mind?

Might you wonder why this friend of yours is so popular and you are not? Or, maybe you feel slightly embarrassed that this other person may perceive you as something less than a people person, even if you really are – maybe, just not on Facebook?

The World to a Child is Imposing Enough without New Threads

As an adult, you may be much better-equipped and emotionally mature enough to deal with these types of (sometimes) unsettling thoughts and emotions. To an already at-risk child, the misinterpretation of the written word and / or a misunderstanding within the context of some casual situation may be harmful to his or her mental health. The child is much more apt to internalize and dwell on feelings of rejection than most adults, who are able to reconcile these emotions with the understanding that we are all capable of making misinterpretations and having misunderstandings; that it is perfectly acceptable to have fewer friends than someone else (often it's a quality over quantity matter anyway); and that rejection – when it inevitably does come- is a part of normal, daily living.

The first week of May is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week. It is the proper time to reflect on how the changing ways of the world may be impacting our children's mental health. Actually, we should be interested in this area of ??concern, every single day of the year. It is a critical consideration. If we can shield a child from any form of mental illness, we can help assure them of a happy and productive future. The cumulative effect of this kind of pro-activity is a much better world filled with well-adjusted children and adults. That being said, we have our work cut out for us with many great mental health challenges ahead.

Who Ever Heard of "FaceBook Depression?"

There is a new and troubling mental health diagnosis stemming from children's overuse of Social Media. It's called "FaceBook Depression." The American Academy of Pediatrics has validated this diagnosis and linked it to depression and eating disorders.

Dr. Michael Brody is the Chair of the Media Committee for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He recently shared the following comments regarding the American Academy of Pediatrics report attributed to the study, which he personally impacted.

"Kids are very competitive, and kids want to be chosen," explains Dr. Brody. When children see that some of their friends have more Facebook friends than they do, there are those who may feel inadequate. After reviewing a series of upbeat comments on their friend's Facebook pages, some may gain the impression that people they know and want to be popular with interact more freely with others than with them. "I think the idea of ??envy and jealousy becomes much magnified through this medium (Social Media)," says Brody.

There is no Substitute for an Engaged Parent

All of this perceived inadequacy on the part of teenagers and youngger children can best be addressed by caring and engaged parents, who closely monitor their children's use of social media and encourage them to balance their lives with other off-line interests and activities. One-dimensional living is not healthy for anyone and Social Media has made it far too easy to shun the real world to engage strictly in on-line socialization. We are social-bees and need to interact with others, in the flesh. There is no reasonable substitute for making eye-contact with our peers and exchanging the dynamic messages and signals that can only be expressed in body language. Social Media is lacking in full body human expression.

Normal children's development requires a well-rounded set of human experiences. Social Media is self-limiting in this regard. The child that plays sports, joins clubs, visits with friends and spends time with family is much less a -risk for depression and other troubling symptoms associated with the overuse of Social Media and "Facebook Depression." Facebook Depression is new and unfortunate clinical malady that no child should never have to be diagnosed with. Parents, teachers and clinicians should be on the lookout for early indicators of this disease and intervene, immediately.
