Understanding Simple Search Engine Optimization for Business Owners

Individuals beginning an internet business may wish to have a SEO company to help with their optimization or marketing of their website. The SEO services company will take their information and add marketing through internet marketing, or search engine marketing. To do this, a company will need information about the website and will need to make sure the site has a good domain name. Choosing a domain name is easy if the individual knows what they are offering on the website. A good domain name will incorporate the website into its name. This will help drive traffic to the website and help the domain to reach a higher level on the internet each time it is searched.

Search engine optimization can be important when an individual is trying to market their website and gain ranking. To do this one will need to drive traffic to their website through Google AdWords services and AdWords management. Individuals can use link building and links to drive traffic to their site as well as using articles that are linked to the original site. Adding keywords to an article will help individuals to type these words in to the search engine to locate the article or website through the keywords. These keywords can be something that individuals would think have when they saw the website.

Keywords, Google AdWords services, and SEO services are all things used to drive traffic to a website. The more traffic to the website, the more the individuals will see the site climb to the top of the Google search engine. This will help with search engine optimization. Internet marketing through using key phrases, words, and ad words will help an individual's site to reach the top. Reaching the top means every time one or two words, that are the keywords, are typed in the search engine, the site will pop up. It may not begin on the top but it will ever make its way to the top if the individual uses a good SEO company to manage their marketing. Individuals that are inexperienced with developing and managing a site will appreciate the capabilities of the companies that do SEO.

The websites with the most traffic to them will stand the best chance of having the most success on the World Wide Web. Individuals that take the time to do a good job of sending traffic to their site will stand the best chances of having great amounts of traffic to their site. A good marketing campaign will help drive the traffic and will help the website owner to manage their site after the services are complete. They will monitor how the site is doing and make sure that the site is continuing to remain on top. If the site begins to slip, the managers will do more marketing and management so that the site will return to the top of the search engines lists. When a keyword is typed into the search engine, they will know that they were smart to hire a SEO agency handle their marketing and optimization.

Understanding Male Psychology – Why Ignoring Your Ex-Boyfriend Works

You’ve heard the same advice time and time again since the break up. You’re supposed to ignore your ex boyfriend if you want to get him back. At first glance it makes absolutely no sense at all. How in the world could ignoring a man make him decide that he wants you back? The opposite seems much more likely, doesn’t it? Internally you feel that right now would be the perfect time to pick up the phone to call your ex boyfriend and suggest you two try and work things out. But everyone is screaming at you to not do that. You’re confused, you feel desperate and you’re worried that you’re going to make a mistake that’s going to cost you the man you love. Before you do anything, you need a short and concise lesson in male psychology. There’s a very good reason why you should pay attention to those who tell you to forget your ex boyfriend’s phone number, address and place of work.

Right Now You’re Not in Control of Your Failed Relationship

After a break up the individual who is chasing their ex partner is not in control of the future of the relationship. As women we often wish we could live our lives in the pages of a romance novel. We imagine that moment when our ex boyfriend picks up the phone to say he can’t live another day without us. The problem is that in reality that’s not likely to happen if you’re chasing him non-stop. Your actions really do speak louder than your words in this scenario and your actions are screaming a message that loudly declares, “I’m desperate and I don’t care who knows it.”

He is completely in control of what happens next. If he chooses to ignore you, he knows instinctively that you’re just going to step up your efforts and pursue him even more. Essentially you’re telling him that the more he ignores you, the harder you’ll try. Your life revolves around him and that feeds his ego. Most men in this position aren’t quick to give their ex girlfriend the time of day because they want to see how far she’ll push herself in an effort to win him back.

You must shift the dynamic of the relationship so that you’re the one in control of the future. The best way to do that is to change your own behavior. You’ll actually be surprised at how quickly he’ll decide he wants you when he suddenly believes you no longer want him.

There’s More to Ignoring Your Ex Boyfriend Than Not Answering His Texts

One relationship changing error that many women make before they start no contact with their ex boyfriend is they tell him of their intentions in such a way that he realizes that it’s little more than a game. If you announce to your ex boyfriend that you’re no longer talking to him, and you do that while you’re overly emotional, he’s going to view it as a tactic to get him back. His competitive spirit will kick itself into overdrive and he’ll set out on his own course to ignore you. Before you know it, weeks or months will have passed and you’ll both be too stubborn to reach out to connect with the other.

You’re much better off just dropping off the face of the earth. The best advice you can follow is to decide one moment (now is good) that you’re not going to talk or try to try to your ex boyfriend again for at least a month. Don’t let anyone know that you’re doing this as mutual friends love to gossip and your ex boyfriend will once again realize you’re using no contact as a tool to remind him how much he needs you.

During the next month, try your best to shift your focus to something positive and enriching. It’s very tempting to sit and wallow in the memories of when you two were together but that’s not going to accomplish anything productive for you. This should be a month when you rediscover who you are, as a woman, and you get in touch with what you want out of life.

Redefine What Your Life Goals Are As You Distance Yourself From Your Ex

You’re in for a couple of welcome surprises when you do begin the journey of ignoring your ex boyfriend. First and foremost, you’re going to be shocked with how he responds. Typically a man will want a woman who no longer wants him. Once your ex boyfriend realizes that you’ve stopped your never-ending quest to regain his love and devotion, he’ll set out to recapture your heart. It’s amazing how that works. Men are notorious for wanting things in life that are just beyond their reach. When one of those things becomes an ex girlfriend, a man will kick his charm into high gear in an effort to win her back. Basically, if you take away the knowledge that you want him, he’ll start to question who you do want. Once that happens, he’ll come running back to you full force, trying to get you to explain to him what’s changed.

The other, more welcome, benefit of ignoring your ex boyfriend is you get to finally decide, in an emotionally uncluttered way, whether getting back together is actually something that you want or need. Things look and feel much different a month after the break up. Your emotions are settled, your future is less defined and you are open to a whole array of possibilities.

Giving yourself the opportunity to take a breath from your ex boyfriend is one of the best gifts you can possibly ever get. You will finally be able to decide what is best for you and whether reuniting with him is truly the best way to make all your romantic dreams come true.

Understanding SEO for Your Site

If you are putting up your first website, whether you have a business or a site that’s of a more personal nature, you need to understand the importance of SEO. If you want people to be able to find your website, you need to have a high search engine ranking. You need to make sure that you have visibility on the web. This is not easy to do on your own and many businesses and individuals choose to hire professionals who can help. If you are going to hire the pros, it’s still a good idea to understand more about search engine optimization so you know what they are doing for you.

What is SEO?

The strength of your search engine optimization is going to determine where you fall on the search engine rankings. Most people have used sites such as Google or Yahoo to look up information on their search engines. You use keywords that relate to the topic that interests you, plug them into the engine, and retrieve your results. When you receive those results, how many pages do you usually look at? Most people only look at the first page, or perhaps two pages, of results. That’s why it is so important to get a high ranking. You want to be one of the first companies listed on the search engine because more people are going to click through and go to your site!

Improving Your SEO

If you want to improve your SEO and have a better ranking, search engine optimization companies are able to help. It’s possible to do it on your own, but the process usually takes much longer. Not only that, but also those who do it on their own are not always going to be using the best techniques, and that could mean less of a ranking boost.

The first thing that you have to do is make sure that you have quality content on your site. The search engines are tougher today than they once were, and if you do not have a site that offers quality content, it is easy to vanish from the rankings. The content that you have should relate to your products or service, and it should have those keywords in it that the web travelers are using to search. Having the right keywords is one of the most important parts of ranking in the search engines. The metadata on your page is also important, and a good optimization company can help tie everything in your site together.

You can also improve your rankings with some offsite work. Adding articles about your niche, products, or services to article directories with links back to your site can be a good way to improve your visibility on the web as well as your rankings. You may also want to start commenting on sites and blogs that deal with a similar topic, linking back to your site if they allow it. Targeting marketing can also help to drive traffic to your site, which can help with your ranking.

As you can see, there are many ways to improve your rank. If you can’t do it on your own, hire a qualified company to help you.

Understanding Stress – The 3 Types of Stresses!

When people think of stress, they usually think of it as a bad thing, certainly not good thing, but stress can actually be beneficial. Stress is classified into three types: Eustress, Neustress and Distress. They differ on how they affect a person or individual. Let’s tackle them one by one.

Eustress is the good kind of stress. It is stress that gives motivation and inspiration. This stress arises from many situations. For example, being promoted or winning a new job gives a person a bit of stress in the sense that they will have to adjust to new working conditions as well as create new relationships with new co-workers together with job performance expectations. It is, however, a good stress in that it gives you motivation to do your job well and the promotion or job offer itself serves as a reward or a prize for the hard work you have done.

The second type of stress is distress. It is basically the complete opposite of Eustress in terms of its effect on an individual. This type of stress causes ill effects to a person and is what people usually refer to when talking about stress. If someone is talking about stress it is almost always concerned with negative distress. Distress causes despair, grief, and sadness or more simply it disturbs the equilibrium of the body. An example of a stressor that can cause distress is the death of a spouse, major medical difficulties or some major loss of property or position. At its worst it will certainly cause grief and depression and will often be a life changing event.

The last type of stressor is called neustress. Neustress comes from the prefix ‘neu’ meaning neutral and is basically a type of stress that lies in the neutral reaction zone. It is a stress that doesn’t cause any particular harm or grief to the individual to the extent that it causes distress. Nor is it necessarily positive or a motivating change stress.

For an example imagine a person at a store overhearing someone else’s conversation. That person may be talking about their son’s sickness or misfortune or even death with their friend. While a person may react to it and feel sympathy to the person concerned but it will only last moments and it will not affect the person in a either a negative or in a positive way, certainly not in the same way or to the same extent that knowing the person concerned would affect them and therefore it is considered a neutral impact. Simply put, think of it as a judge hearing out a case of murder, the judge doesn’t take sides but only views the facts and decide what’s right and just.

The ultimate impact though of the types of stress you are experiencing comes down to how you perceive or see the stressor, in light of your own opinions and world view. What hardly affects one person at all but have a great impact on another. Whether you take an event as good, bad or neutral is… well… at the end of the day… up to you.

Understanding Search Engine Optimization From a Beginners Point of View

So it happened that we received a query from a new client who has been following our company for sometime and has been thinking of using our search engine optimization and marketing services. He became very keen after we redid the website completely and focused all our attention towards on-line marketing. He finally decided to contact us and enquire about our services. We talked on the phone and had discussed in essence most of the things when the client started to ask some very simple and basic questions. It turned out that the questions actually covered almost all aspects of SEO and the small sales pitch call turned into an on-call Wiki lecture. So after the call I gave it some thought and decided to put in this article together for those of our visitors who know what search engine optimization is but have a need to understand it. In this article I plan to put in the very basic aspects of search engine optimization and search engine marketing for our clients who would like to have a better understanding of what is being done to their websites when they hand over their websites to us. I will not be explaining the process but will be explaining the elementary basics of what is what and what SEO curtails.

What is SEO?

Search Engine Optimization is the process of optimizing a website or a web page to increase its visibility or ranking on a search engines result page (also known as SERP’s). The visibility or ranking is increased in the search engines natural results or organic results, hence the term Organic SEO. This is usually the first and foremost step that an experienced SEO SEM company will recommend a client as part of its on-line marketing strategy. This part includes On-page and Off-page aspects of search engine optimization and are explained below. Search Engine Optimization or SEO follows how search engines work with actual search terms also known as keywords that are put into the search boxes and how the results are portrayed. Depending on a clients requirements SEO can be offered as a separate service or as a part of a complete on-line marketing strategy.

What is On Page Optimization?

On Page Optimization as the phrase suggests is the adjustment of the website or the webpage to optimize it in the best possible way to make it easily accessible by search engines for particular keywords or search terms without any hindrance and to remove any parameter that may prevent a search engine from ignoring that website or webpage. This is achieved by optimization of content, HTML and other coding as per the business related keywords of the website or webpage to be optimized so that search bots find it relevant to the search terms entered by a visitor. So no matter what you do, search engine optimization and on-line marketing strategy as a whole will not give you the desired results if your website or webpage are not correctly optimized as per the search engine guidelines. In all on-page optimization has to do everything related to your website directly.

What is Off Page Optimization?

Off page optimization is the exact opposite of on page optimization. This process is related to all the tasks done outside of your website and optimization of external aspects that effect the factors of how your website is found on the internet. This involves of placing your website information on external sources so that they make your website accessible from various locations on the internet. By placing your website on reliable and relevant resources on the internet your website gains popularity and makes it for search engines to easily relate to your website for relevant search terms and hence place you higher on search engine rankings There are several ways of putting your website on the internet:

Link Building

Directory Submission

Article Writing

Article Submission

Press Releases

Blogging

The above are not all but some very important ways to place your website on the internet and need to be done with great care as they can make or break your websites popularity. Search engine algorithms are pretty smart these days to define if the resources displaying content is relevant to the search terms and if they are to give relevance in terms of search results.

What is SEM?

A very common misconception is that Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) are the same things since a client has to pay for both of these services to an internet marketing company and if a company’s Sales Manager is not able to explain this in a clear manner it can be a deal breaker and the potential client may chose to go with another SEO SEM company. So to put it into simple words SEM is a process of promoting your website through paid aspects like advertising, AdWords, paid placements in results etc. To explain this in simple words we can compare SEO as advertising your website in the free section of the classifieds of a newspaper and SEM as advertising your website in the paid section of the same newspaper where your advertisement is highlighted and put on top of all other advertisements. An experienced Internet Marketing company balances SEO and SEM while planning your on-line marketing strategy to get the optimum results while keeping in mind your budgets, although if you have a very competitive business niche and if you are looking for faster results be ready to spend a major chunk of your SEO SEM budget on advertising/paid results.

As I had mentioned earlier that I will not be writing about the process but about the very basics if SEO SEM. Please feel free to let us know what you think in the comments section and of-course feel free to contact us at Felix Labs to get a free website analysis and a free quote for your website. Happy Reading!!!

Improved Search Engine Placement – Understanding the 3 Principal Stages of SEO

When you want to get improved search engine placement you will need to use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. SEO is a many-faceted science/art. Sometimes its parts get mixed up and this gets people confused about what SEO really is, what it consists of. Perhaps some clarification would be in order.

There are three distinct phases or parts of SEO. For convenience of reference here let’s call them Strategy, Tactics and Close Combat.

Strategy is the long-seeing overview. You search keywords (KWs)looking for those with many searches being made, but not too many search results showing up in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). So you analyze the number of searches, the number of pages that come up when you search on the KW phrase.

You also look at the number of exact match searches, by searching on the KW in quotes “KW”, which narrows down the field. Various tools are used, the KEI index, various other ratios, attempting to measure the desirability of different KWs in terms of how easy or difficult they might be to rank for.

Tactics, the next phase, better defines specific targets. You look at the numbers of backlinks and pages indexed of the top ten ranked sites for a given KW. The object being to see, in a general manner, how much effort you might need to get improved search engine placement to make it to the first page.

You can, of course, compete on almost any KW, but the question is, would it be worth it. If the current first page results for the KW are full of high page rank sites with thousands of backlinks and thousands of pages, then you know that it would take a great deal of time and money to compete.

Perhaps it’s not worth trying, perhaps it is. What you are really doing is assessing the feasibility of trying, looking at the cost/benefit ratio to see if it would be worthwhile or not. If you decide that the effort would be worth it and start out, when you get up to the top three pages, you are ready for the third phase…

Close Combat. At this point, you are done with statistics; you get specific and start counting and measuring. The objective is to displace one of the current first page occupants. To do that, you must do what he has done, only more so, and better. You analyze individual websites, counting links, noting where they come from.

You analyze how each main web page is optimized, looking for ways to do better. You run down your checklist, item by item, looking at how he got the ranking he enjoys, and at how you can do better than that. To get the improved search engine placement you want you must outdo the one who holds that ranking now.

In the strategy phase, you work with large numbers and statistics to decide whether a KW is worthwhile to consider. In the tactics phase you examine conditions, in general, where you want to be, to assess you will nave to do and what your website will have to become to compete in that arena.

In the final, close combat phase, it gets down to one-on-one, detailed analyses of how to outdo the specific incumbent holder of the ranking that you want.

At each level your definition of improved search engine placement changes, from into the top 500, to the top 30 to the specific target ranking position you want. In each phase you use different perspectives, thinking and tools. It’s a three phase process to get to the top.

When an individual searches for a particular topic, they typically type specific phrases like "SEO Basis" for example. Now, the search engine you chose will process this phrases and come up with a list that is outlined in a page called search engine results page and you choose from among the websites listed according to the phrase you typed. The search engine's search results are based on the contents, Meta tags, heading tags, and title. When you type in the keywords, Google or yahoo will display the corresponding websites.

Article writing is part of the strategy as it becomes content in the website – the most important part of the website and SEO strategy. The articles contain keywords which appears as the title and in the whole article about 5% keyword density. The 5% is an allowable density of the keywords so that it avoids keyword stuffing which is unacceptable for search engines. Most website owners think they can fool the search engine by using as much keywords as they please but this will not work because people like quality, well written articles with the purpose in mind to please readers and therefore, more traffic in your websites that help in page rankings you want the most.

Here are some tips for article writing:

  • Keyword stuffing only makes the search engine redundant and can be marked as spam. Keywords must be repeated a few times depending on the number of words per article.
  • Articles should contain information, details, and some tips if needed. The article should be free from plagiarism, and well written.
  • You should use the keyword as a title. This really helps search engines find your webpage.
  • Mention some popular websites in the article.
  • Link your content to many social websites to encourage more people to visit your site.

Remember to have balance in your websites. You do not want your website to be in the blacklist would you? Do not over stuff the article with keywords and make it simple, straight forward, and informative. Consult your web professionals to help you achieve full potential of your website.
